The price.....well they have fuck*d it up didn't they .....2016, nice prices, a lot of sales I guess...2017 they raised the prices to a level where the interest just faded away.....any place where we can see how much coins/rounds have been sold as of yet ?
2018....I can't find the picture on their website, nor can I see a price....so can someone please post a link ?

I will try to buy some of the 1 oz and 1/2 oz....I just really like the design of the rounds

Right now it's just an announcement. The 2018 coin could not be ordered yet.

We assume that they will keep the price of the 2017 which is 23,80€ per 1Oz coin.

Thx Tykon for the clarification of where that price came from .....I hope they will get some senses and lower the price again....

Any link to the pictures ? Announcement ? I tried their website, but no luck in finding....

Die Münze Berlin hat heute per newsletter die Auflagezahlen für 2018 bekannt gegeben....
drastisch reduzierte Auflagezahlen..:

1 kg : 250
1 oz : 5.000
1/2 oz: 1.250
1/4 oz: 1.250
1/8 oz: 1.250
1/16 oz: 1.250

Die 1 oz soll am 14./15.10. auf der NUMISMATA erhältlich sein..
Online sollen alle grössen (bzw. zumindest mehrere Grössen, so hab ich es verstanden).. ab 16.10. verfügbar sein...

but the big questions is of course at what price will they offer the reduced mintage rounds

And shipping directly from the mint is a no go for me (living in Belgium)....so, I wouldn't bother if someone could fetch me 3 x 1 oz and 3 x 1/2 oz... ....but let us wait on the prices...

So kann man auch versuchen überteuerte Medaillen interessanter zu machen und unters "Volk" zu bringen.

Hätten sie die Preise von 2016 behalten, wären die Dinger gegangen wie warme Semmeln.

Jetzt haben sie gegengelenkt, weil die 2017er wie Blei im Regal stehen. Die Motive sind eigentlich ganz nett. Könnte man nur in die Zukunft schauen....

Finde, Panda-Motiv passt zu Berlin. Eigentlich auch schöne Silberunzen... durch die fehlende Zahlungsmitteleigenschaft natürlich voll steuerpflichtig... aber was solls ich werde mir auch die 2018er kaufen, genau wie 2017 und 2016, aber das muss ja jeder für sich entscheiden...

Well, maybe they are not happy with the sales numbers....but that is something they created themselfs...I remember back in 2016, when some forum member had asked the Berlin Mint about the price setting...that they planned to be close to spot, with a little additional costs....suddenly, they changed course and upped the price to the stratosphere .....and in order to keep up that price...they lowered mintage....

Sehe ich auch so, der erste Jahrgang war echt interessant und super preiswert aber jetzt der 2018 Jahrgang ist viel zu teuer und meiner Meinung nach uninteressant geworden.
1Oz für 25,60€ ist ein stolzer Preis ...
