Well, I ordered with several dealers some coins.....2 of them replied, after I paid, that they would not get the coins they ordered (and paid for). So I can imagine that, allthough 7329 were minted, not all coins were shipped to dealers (at a certain moment, the news comes in and production gets hal...

I believe less then 7.329 coins are distributed.....the Pobjoy Mint has held coins, which where minted, back....so some dealers did not get the asked amount of coins.....NO real source with a link, my thoughts

thanks shark ! I can find the diameter of the coins, both for lunar I and II....but not the diameter WITH capsules... Is the red Lunar II box (from meinemuenzbox.de) in which 12 x 1 oz silver coins can be placed also suited for the Lunar I 12 x 1 oz silver coins ?...short : can the box be used for both series

Correct....that is what I mean with 'power ' of the series smilie_14 ...but in German, you Kolumboss, can explain it better. I'm not a big fan of PP...I have some Libertad in PP, beautifull coins, really like them....but in general, PP coins are much harder to sell again.....you pay a premium at iss...
